Booie is bringing conversation back to life by solving the problem of social absence - a lack of real life presence and connectivity.
Mobility means increased connectivity and access to information. But the frequency at which we use our mobile devices to connect with our digital world has noticeably begun to take away from our presence in real life.
Booie challenges you to look around at the people in the room. How many of us are on some sort of mobile device? Now try to remember or imagine what life was like without these devices. How did we interact with our surroundings? Is it possible that during our journey to become more connected, we’ve started to miss what’s right in front of us?
Booie enables individuals to post information they’re interested in talking about. In doing so, Booie lowers the barriers of communication by answering the question – What should I say?
Map page shows the talking points of people within 400 feet of you. Filter what you see on the map by words or types of booies. Tap a booie to see more info on that person and their thoughts.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
